  • Drupal 7 has made a huge leap towards universal accessibility thanks to the contributions of almost 400 people over the last three years. Drupal 7 core is one of the most accessible content management systems/platforms available today. Both public and administration pages have been reviewed for accessibility problems, and many barriers to participation have been eliminated. Drupal’s modular structure uses APIs and hooks to make core functions available to themes and modules, which means that many of the enhancements in core will be inherited when developers are customizing sites. Unfortunately, this does not mean that every site developed with it will be accessible.
